Day 2

Bible text: 2 Kings 13:14

The time you spend alone with God is not wasted time. 1 Kings 17:1.
- Elisha was a healthy man. The only time he fell sick was when he died. He was very anointed. 2 Kings 4:38-41. There was so much anointing on Elisha. 2 Kings 6:1-7, Matthew 8:14-15.
- None of the apostles was sick. You don’t have to be sick ever again. If you ever fall sick, all you have to do is reach out for the stripes. 1 Peter 2:24, James 5:16.
- Death is no respecter of anointing. 1 Samuel 25:1, 1 Kings 16:1-13, Ecclesiastes 8:8, 1 Corinthians 15:26. Death is not a function of age. It can kill anybody. Deuteronomy 34:7, Joshua 24:29, Genesis 5:27.
- The most important thing we should ask ourselves is “How much time have I left?” John 9:4, John 1:19-36, Matthew 14:1-13. More important to us is not just finishing but finishing well. 2 Timothy 4:6-8, Deuteronomy 34:1-8.
- Finishing well has nothing to do with titles. Success is doing what God assigns to you very well. Matthew 26:13-30, Ephesians 4:11-13, 2 Kings 5:1-19, John 6:5-13.
- We can’t talk about death without talking about Heaven. Isaiah 66:1, Daniel 2:20-22. In heaven, the celebration will never end because there’s no night. Revelation 22:5. The temperature there is always constant. Ecclesiastes 7:1, 2 Corinthians 5:8, Philippians 1:21-23, 2 Timothy 4:6-8.
- When you die, you’re going for graduation, coronation, and prize-giving day. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. There are certain things God has prepared for you that will be revealed to you on that day.

What must I do to be ready for heaven? Matthew 25:1-13
1) Be extra ready. Revelation 22:14-15
2) You must stop lying in any form. Acts 5:1-11
3) Restitute your ways. Make peace with all men. Hebrews 12:14, Revelation 3:11.
4) Hold fast to what you have. Revelation 2:10
5) Be faithful unto death and the Lord will give you a crown of life. 2 Peter 3:14
6) Be diligent. Ephesians 5:25-27. The Lord is coming for a spotless church.
